Disclosure policy

I make money on this website through affiliate programs. If you click an affiliate link or ad banner and buy the product, you help support this website because I’ll get a percentage of that sale.

What this means for you:

  • I became an affiliate to earn revenue towards the costs of running and maintaining this website. Where I have direct control over which ads are served on this website I offer only products that are directly related to the topic of this website and products that a reader/subscriber would have a genuine interest in or need of.
  • I do not and will not recommend a product for the sake of making money.
  • I do not let the compensation I receive influence the content, topics, posts, or opinions expressed on this website.
  • I respect and value my readers too much to write anything other than my own opinions and advice.

Like this website, my disclosure policy is a work in progress. As the revenue streams evolve, so will this page.

Attribution

If you’re inclined to give credit — a link back to the source article attributed to either Metoric Teachings or Alok Prateek is good enough for me. If you don’t want to attribute my content, hey that’s cool too. Just don’t go stealing stuff and republishing it as your own.

On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

I use Google Analytics to collect non-personal data to answer questions such as:

  • What kind of browser & operating system you visited the site on?
  • How long you stay on the site?
  • What pages on the site you visit?
  • What area of the world you are located in?
  • How is this data is used?

The data gathered allow me to better understand the visitors to this site and how it is viewed, this allows me to make better decisions about the site and any future additions to it.

Occasionally I compile aggregate statistics on various usage and/or user metrics for the site. No personally identifying data is included in this type of reporting.

None of the data gathered through Google Analytics is shared with any 3rd party.

All of my activity falls within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service.
